• Gray Hall

  Chairman, President & CEO

  Gray Hall joined Alert Logic in 2009. Previously, he was founder and CEO of VeriCenter, a leading managed hosting, collocation and IT outsourcing provider that was acquired by SunGard. Hall’s experience also includes roles at Fidelity Equity Partners as Executive-in-Residence, IBM where he led the formation and launch of IBM’s Center for Scalable Computing Solutions, and Broadband Venture Partners, LLC, as Managing Director.

• Misha Govshteyn

  Vice President of Emerging Products

  Misha Govshteyn is co-founder and is responsible for security strategy, security research and operations at Alert Logic. Prior to founding Alert Logic, Govshteyn served as a Director of Managed Services for Reliant Energy Communications. In this role, he developed and successfully launched five major product lines, including Managed Intrusion Detection Services and Managed Enterprise Firewall/VPN Products.

• Carter Griffin

  Director

  Carter Griffin is a General Partner at Updata Partners, a growth stage equity firm with $500 million under management. Prior to joining Updata Partners, Griffin co-founded Brivo Systems, a pioneer in SaaS security software. He served as Chairman and CEO until selling the company to Duchossois Enterprises Group in 2004. Mr. Griffin currently serves on the boards of Alert Logic, Bradford Networks, iContact and LogiXML.

• Steve Coffey

  Director

  Steve Coffey is a managing director of Covera Ventures and has more than 20 years of investment experience with companies at all stages of development. Steve was previously president and managing director of Hunt Ventures and established the Austin office in 1999. Steve currently serves on the boards of directors for Alert Logic, Innography, iTKO, Ontela, Storspeed and Zumobi, and he is actively involved with Hubspan and SiGe Semiconductor. Steve was a director or actively involved in such companies as Airspan (NASDAQ: AIRN), Softricity (acquired by Microsoft), SNAPin (acquired by Nuance) and Metreos (acquired by Cisco).

• Blair Garrou

  Director

  Since the late 90’s, Blair Garrou has focused on funding, operating and incubating startup software companies. Mr. Garrou is a co-founder and Managing Director of Mercury Fund, a seed and startup venture capital firm headquartered in Houston, Texas. His current investments include Alert Logic, BlackLocus, Fluensee, GameSalad, Graphicly, Infochimps, Koupon Media, ShareThis, and Wide Open Spaces. Outside of Mercury, Blair serves in board and advisory roles for the Houston Technology Center, the Post Oak School, Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship, and UT Health. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Management at the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University where he teaches a course on venture capital. Blair is an active member of YPO – Gulf States Chapter, and was named by the Houston Business Journal as one of its inaugural “40 under 40,” a recognition of outstanding business and community leaders under the age of 40.

• Vince Rossi

  Director

  Vince Rossi brings more than 15 years of private and public company security industry experience to the Alert Logic board. His extensive background in the security technology industry includes his most recent position as the CEO of St Bernard Software, a publicly traded Internet security company. Prior to St Bernard, Mr. Rossi was the SVP of Product Management and Product Marketing for McAfee.

• Jon Seeber

  Director

  Jon Seeber is a principal at Updata Partners, a growth equity fund investing in market-leading software, Internet and digital media companies. Before joining Updata Partners, Jon was a member of the Corporate Development team at IBM. Previously, Jon was an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force. In addition to serving on the board of Alert Logic, Jon is actively involved with Coaxis, Inc., Foresee Results and Bradford Networks.
