  Gray Hall

  Chairman & CEO

  Gray Hall joined Alert Logic in 2009 as a 20-year veteran of the IT industry. In 1999 Hall co-founded VeriCenter, a pioneer in managed IT services, and served as president and CEO until its successful sale to SunGard Data Systems in 2007. VeriCenter was a leading provider of enterprise hosting solutions, and under Hall’s leadership delivered seven years of consecutive revenue growth and achieved $80 million in annual sales. After VeriCenter, Gray served as Executive-in-Residence at Fidelity Equity Partners, a $500 million middle-market buyout fund backed by Fidelity Investments. Earlier in his career Hall spent seven years at IBM, where he led the formation and launch of IBM’s Center for Scalable Computing Solutions in 1994, and several years in the venture capital industry. Gray is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mezeo Software, Inc., a leading provider of cloud storage software.

  Dave Colesante

  Senior Vice President of Product Development & CTO

  Dave Colesante joined Alert Logic in 2010 to lead the company’s product development efforts. Colesante brings more than 20 years of IT and service provider experience to this role. Before joining Alert Logic, he was senior vice president and General Manager of Managed Services for SunGard Availability Services. Previously, he co-founded and served as SVP of Operations and CTO at VeriCenter. Prior to VeriCenter, Colesante co-founded and served as COO at Jones Business Systems, Inc., a high-growth infrastructure business, and previously he was Director of UNIX Support Services at WPDS/Microware Distributors, where he led technical teams and contributed to overall business management. Colesante holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and mathematics from State University of New York at Potsdam.

  Johnny Vincent

  Chief Financial Officer

  Johnny Vincent joined Alert Logic in 2010 as chief financial officer (CFO). Vincent brings to Alert Logic more than 20 years of financial management experience in the technology and energy industries. He joined Alert Logic from The Planet Internet Services where he was vice president, finance, and chief accounting officer. Prior to The Planet, he was vice president and corporate controller of Hercules Offshore, and spent six years with Dell, where he was controller, state and local government sales. A Certified Public Accountant, Vincent earned a B.B.A. in finance and international business from the University of Texas at Austin.

  Misha Govshteyn

  Vice President of Emerging Products

  Misha Govshteyn co-founded Alert Logic in 2002. Misha is responsible for security strategy, security research and software development at Alert Logic. Prior to founding Alert Logic, Govshteyn served as a Director of Managed Services for Reliant Energy Communications. In this role, he developed and successfully launched five major product lines including Managed Intrusion Detection Services and Managed Enterprise Firewall/VPN Products. Under Govshteyn’s direction, Managed Services was the fastest growing group at Reliant Energy Communications, increasing revenue by 300 percent and reaching profitability in less than a year. Prior to Reliant Energy Communications, he held the position of Director of Advanced Technical Services at Insync Internet Services.

  Greg Davis

  Vice President of Sales

  Greg Davis joined Alert Logic in 2009 and is responsible for Alert Logic’s direct, channel and service provider sales strategies. Prior to Alert Logic, Davis served as Vice President of Sales, south central region, for SunGard Data Systems. In that role, he held responsibilities for SunGard’s Enterprise Hosting, Continuity Software and Recovery Services lines of business. Prior to SunGard, he served as Regional Manager with VeriCenter, a leading managed IT hosting provider, acquired by SunGard in 2007. Earlier in his career, Davis held positions with Global Data Systems, a leading provider of managed network solutions, and Davis Restaurant Group. He graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in business.

  Rohit Gupta

  Vice President of Business Development

  Rohit Gupta joined Alert Logic in 2011 and is responsible for driving the corporate and business development strategy and execution. Prior to joining Alert Logic, Gupta was Sr. Director Global Alliances at Trend Micro where he established and managed its worldwide partnerships with VMware, HP and Cisco. Previously, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Imperva where he created their OpenSphere partner program and started their MSSP business unit. Gupta was also at Oracle, Segue Software and Borland in various positions in product development, product management, sales, and worldwide channels and alliances. He holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer and electrical engineering from Purdue University.

  Marty McGuffin

  Vice President of Operations

  Marty McGuffin joined Alert Logic in 2009 and is responsible for Alert Logic’s managed services, including the company’s Security Operations Center (SOC), technical support, cloud infrastructure, provisioning, software release, and all other aspects of service delivery. Prior to Alert Logic, McGuffin served as the Vice President of Service Delivery at SunGard Availability Services, where he was responsible for the operations of the Managed Services line of business. Prior to SunGard, he held the position of Director of Service Operations at VeriCenter, a leading managed IT hosting provider that was acquired by SunGard in 2007. Previously, McGuffin served in operations leadership positions at Hewitt and Associates, Exult Corporation and the U.S. Marine Corps.

  Urvish Vashi

  Vice President of Marketing

  Urvish Vashi joined Alert Logic in 2010 and is responsible for marketing strategy and execution, along with product management. Vashi joined Alert Logic with 15 years of experience in IT and managed hosting services. Previously, he held leadership roles in both product management and marketing at ThePlanet.com Internet Services and Navisite (formerly Interliant), both IT service providers. Further, Vashi was responsible for product management at Symantec and NetIQ in their security and compliance product groups. He graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
