May 28, 2014
11:00 AM – 12 Noon CT
With much happening in security & compliance in 2014, we’ve been able to host a number of popular webinars this year. In February, our threat research team discussed the Target data breach. In March, we were fortunate to have InfoSec Worldwide join us for a PCI DSS 3.0 discussion. And last month, we shared information from the most recent Alert Logic Cloud Security Report. You can watch recordings of all of these events on-demand via the Alert Logic YouTube Channel.
Those were great events, but I have to admit I’m most excited about the webinar event that we have coming up later this month – a panel discussion by representatives from Microsoft, Rook Consulting and Alert Logic on “Security, Compliance and Risk in Hybrid Datacenters.”
Here’s why I’m looking forward to this event:
- We’re fortunate to have three knowledgeable, but diverse panelists. Our group will be Sarah Fender, Director for Microsoft Azure Security and Compliance, Microsoft, J.J. Thompson, Founder and CEO, Rook Security and our own Misha Govshteyn, Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder, Alert Logic. And to make sure things stay interesting, Misha’s said that his goal is to be the controversial panelist.
- The topic couldn’t be more timely. We’re not even half way through 2014 and I feel like we’ve had more than a year’s worth of threats. Add to that the amazing growth in cloud and it’s obvious that organizations in 2014 and beyond have some important decisions to make on their IT infrastructure and how to secure it.
- It’ll be very interactive. Instead of the usual “slides & speakers” webinar, we’re simply going to hold this event as a conversation. We’ll have some questions for our panelists in advance to start the discussion though we want you to add yours as well. You can submit questions for the panel to answer in advance or bring them to the live event or Twitter. We’ll even have some cool Alert Logic swag for those of you who are most interactive.
With so much happening with security, risk and compliance this year, this webinar is a great opportunity to hear from experts on how you can architect a secure IT environment, regardless of your deployment model.
Register Now! We look forward to seeing you on the 28th.
