In a couple of weeks, we’re hosting a webinar with Jeff Tutton from Intersec Worldwide and Chris Noell from Alert Logic.

Top PCI DSS 3.0 Questions Answered – Register Now

  • Date: September 24, 2014
  • Time: 12:00-1:00 PM Central Time

Jeff and Chris hosted an event earlier this year where they explained the significant changes in PCI DSS 3.0 and how to prepare your organization to deal with them. If you want to get a better understanding of PCI DSS 3.0 itself, check out the recording when you have a few minutes.

In the event later this month, Jeff and Chris want to spend more time answering your questions. Are you still figuring out how to get in compliance with PCI 3.0 by the end of the year? Wondering what to do about “best practice” requirements? Anything else?

We’re taking questions in advance via this 1-question survey. Here are some examples of questions we’ve received so far:

  • What about requirements that don’t come into effect until mid-year 2015? Should I be thinking about them now or can I leave them until later?
  • For requirement 12.8.5, what exactly should I expect to get from my service provider? What happens if they don’t provide me with documentation?
  • Can you explain the differences between AES encryption key management and encryption key storage as it relates to protected cardholder data that is at rest?

We’ll take questions throughout the live event for as long as there are questions or our 1-hour time is up. Both Jeff and Chris are PCI experts and will share advice and insight they’ve gained from working to help hundreds of organizations gain PCI compliance. As a bonus, Jeff will share some information he learned at the North America PCI Community meeting in Orlando in early September.
