Alert Logic, the leader in delivering Security-as-a-Service for the cloud, today announced the limited availability of the first fully managed advanced network security solution in Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) environment, the world’s largest public cloud. The result of a joint development program with Datapipe, a leading provider of managed services and infrastructure for IT and cloud computing, Alert Logic’s managed network security solution for Amazon EC2 environments addresses the pressing challenge of network based intrusion detection systems, a key requirement for PCI compliance.
