Several Microsoft VARs and SIs are making the change to Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider program. According to Microsoft, companies that integrate their own Intellectual Property into their services outperform those that do not.
As stated by RightScale’s State of the Cloud report for 2017, Security remains the number on inhibitor for companies new to the cloud (Cloud Beginners). Partnering with a third-party managed security service provider can help you address these requirements, kickstart your customers’ initiatives without you having to build out this expertise in-house—which can be expensive, and allow you to focus your investments on developing IP that differentiates you from other solution providers.
There are several options for Microsoft CSP partners to work with Alert Logic today:
- If you are interested in reselling our services, either white-labeled as part of a managed services offering or as an Alert Logic branded offering setup direct with your customers, you may be able to do so today through our existing partnership with Ingram (US Partners only). If you are based in the UK or Europe, please contact Eleri Gibbon to discuss how we can partner with you.
- If you would prefer to refer opportunities to us, we can work directly with your customer to identify their needs and put an agreement in place. Once they become a customer, you can provision our appliance from the Alert Logic Bring Your Own License (BYOL) listing in the Azure Marketplace into the customer account you are managing. You will need to make sure our appliance is provisioned correctly and the network is configured so we can collect data and manage our appliance, but all billing, support, and incident notification will be handled by Alert Logic.
Once deployed, Alert Logic will continuously monitor the environment to identify Indications of Attack (IOAs) and Indications of Compromise (IOCs), and if we find something and verify it is not a false positive, we can notify either you or the customer of the issue. We recommend you work with your customer to ensure you and your team receive these notifications if you are not working with us directly.
We have a long history of working with partners, and several of the top cloud services partners already work with us because we understand cloud security monitoring. There are several cloud security solutions out there, but we would encourage you to contact us and learn more about how we can help you accelerate your business for both Microsoft Azure Security and AWS Security.
We will be exhibiting at Microsoft’s Cloud and Hosting Summit in Bellevue, WA March 21-23. Please stop by and say hi – we’d love to talk to you!
