London (UK), October 22, 2014 — Alert Logic, the leading provider of Security-as-a-Service for the cloud, has today unveiled its state-of-the-art European Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Cardiff, UK. Established to support demand from its rapidly expanding customer base in Europe, the Alert Logic European SOC will be staffed by a team of local security and threat intelligence experts, delivering a fully managed, enterprise-grade service for the Alert Logic suite of network, system and application security technologies, protecting customers through rapid detection and response to cyber threats and other security incidents.
Officially launching the new centre today, Welsh Government Economy Minister Edwina Hart said, “I am delighted to welcome Alert Logic to Wales and the technology and expertise they bring. The decision to locate their new European headquarters in Central Cardiff Enterprise Zone sends out a strong, clear message that the city is a prime location for technology companies and can offer all the essential elements for growth including a high-level skills base and infrastructure.”
