Alert Logic Names Bob Lyons as Chief Executive Officer

Global Executive with Decades of Success in Transformative Markets Takes the Helm as Security-as-a-Service Leader Enters Next Phase of Growth

 

HOUSTON – March 12, 2018Alert Logic, the leading provider of Security-as-a-Service solutions, today announced that industry veteran Bob Lyons has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Gray Hall, who led the company since 2009, will continue to serve on the Alert Logic Board of Directors.

Lyons brings Alert Logic more than 25 years of experience as a global executive with a demonstrated track record of value creation through technology innovation, revenue growth, customer experience and operational excellence. He is recognized for his success in helping high-growth technology and SaaS companies scale globally and innovate, most recently as President and Chief Operating Officer of Connexions, a global leader in SaaS based customer loyalty and engagement solutions. Previously he served as Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations at Ascend Learning, a leading educational content and SaaS company. At Alert Logic, Lyons will support the company’s continued leadership and growth in security and compliance solutions for today’s diverse technology environments.
