Why Alert Logic?
ClubCorp benefits from Alert Logic providing security in AWS as well as Azure security and also securing their on-premises environments. Vinduska elaborates, “For us, the value of Alert Logic is the human factor. Being able to correlate a lot of the data that we get from them and to give us a secure environment. Since Alert Logic is forward on both cloud and on-prem, it means that we can treat those environments almost the same way and we do not need a prescribed different process for each.”
The Results
Vinduska states, “What I found interesting about AWS was how de facto it was. ClubCorp is a multi-cloud, hybrid environment and when we go work with vendors, they always have a relationship with AWS and a roadmap. We save a lot of time and resources with Alert Logic in that they take a lot of our security data and do great correlation on it so we don’t chase down ghosts. We spend time focused on the security issues that matter. One of the things I will say about everything we stand up in AWS is that it just works. We’ve had very little late-night incidents or challenges because when it’s in AWS it just works.“
