Company delivers accelerating year-over-year growth of 46 percent
HOUSTON – October 25, 2011 – Alert Logic (www.alertlogic.com), the leading provider of Security-as-a-Service solutions for the cloud, today announced GAAP revenues for the quarter ending September 30, 2011 of $5.6 million, up 46 percent from the third quarter of 2010, and up nearly 10 percent from the second quarter of 2011. The 46 percent year-over-year increase compares favorably to the company’s 41 percent year-over-year increase in the second quarter of 2011. Results were driven by increasing demand for security and compliance solutions through the cloud and hosting service provider channel and the addition of new partners, such as SunGard Availability Services. “Our business strategy is predicated on the understanding that advanced security and compliance solutions are an essential requirement for customers moving infrastructure to cloud and hosting environments,” said Gray Hall, Alert Logic’s president and CEO. “We believe this record sales quarter and accelerating growth validates our strategy.” Q3 FY 2011 Highlights:
- Secured Amazon Web Services environments in partnership with Datapipe.
- Integrated Alert Logic’s solutions for vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection and log management into SunGard Availability Services’ suite of managed security services.
- Expanded senior executive team with the appointment of Rohit Gupta as Vice President of Business Development.
- Launched the Cloud Acceleration Partner Program (CAPP), enabling technology partners to deliver security solutions as fully-managed security services and announced Rapid7 as a charter partner.
